Coco Plum – Coral Gables, Florida
This is our third project for this client. The home was built in Cocoplum, Coral Gables, Florida, in 1984. The house and grounds are being completely renovated to meet the desires of this family with three young children. The client requested that the design make them feel like they are still on vacation at a Southeast Asian resort. The outdoor areas are given special attention to make them feel like a five-star tropical resort. The design will feature a large saltwater pool and spa, numerous seating areas with a large fireplace, and a wellness area consisting of cold and hot plunge pools and an infrared sauna. There will also be an outdoor shower and tub area for bathing the children that will have a 6-foot tall terracotta breeze wall for privacy, a garden area for growing vegetables, and play areas for the children that will include a tree house, play area, zipline, and miniature soccer field.
Five Park – Miami Beach, Florida
This project is a winter retreat for a couple that lives between Boston and Malibu. The color palette will be primarily neutrals with accents of blue, teals and soft greens. There is power in the serenity of a neutral space with architectural furnishing that allows the views from the 40th floor to dominate the space.
Portofino – Miami, Florida
This is the 4th project we’ve done for this client. This penthouse apartment is on the 43rd floor with spectacular views of Miami Beach, Fisher Island, the Atlantic Ocean and downtown Miami. The client lives between New York City and Miami Beach, spending half the year on their yacht. The apartment is being completely gutted and a new space plan is being created with the possibility that the apartment below, that they also own, may be connected by a staircase in the future.
Clock Tower – Dumbo, New York
Built in 1915 by Robert Gair, this project is located in the historic landmarked “Clock Tower” building in Dumbo, New York. On our 3rd renovation project with this client, this home will be restored in keeping with the pre-war architectural details of the building but brought to the 21st century through state of the art home technology. The apartment will balance comfort and style in equal measures with nods to mid-century design. Neutral and warm toned colors, natural materials and rich textured fabrics, including bouclé, velvet and linen will make up the palette.
Continuum North Tower – Miami Beach, Florida
This Miami apartment is a winter retreat for a professional couple from New York that also has a home in Manhattan and Centre Island which we also worked on. The couple wanted the apartment to have a mellow beach house feel of Miami with the collected familiarity of beach houses you would find in the Northeast. This is a refuge for them to slow down and enjoy the Miami winter.
